Wind and Solar Projects in 12 European Countries

Since the fall of 2004, the Group has developed and put into operation 41 wind farm projects and 10 solar farms with a total of 282 MW in installed capacity and a total of EUR 404m in investment value (incl. partnership investments).

Power Plants in Operation Rapidly Increase Power Sales

European Energy handles in‐house administration of wind and solar farm operations in 12 European countries. This includes power sales to utility companies via power purchase agreements and the handling of local tax and auditing procedures for more than 300 SPVs (Special Purpose Vehicles).

As such, we like to keep a minority interest in respective farms in order to assure our partners the most efficient administration of power sales and the most effective operation and maintenance of wind and solar assets throughout their operating life.

At the end of 2009, the Group's accumulated ownership in projects in operation accounted for EU 404 million. The energy produced by these parks is enough to meet the demand of about 100.000 households/400.000 people per year.
