I have always had an interest in working in a sector that has social benefits to it. As a matter of fact, before joining European Energy, I worked for an NGO in South Africa. Thus, surely, one of the main reasons why I chose to apply for European Energy was the fact that the product we sell is renewable energy. Thanks to the production of renewable energies we can fight climate change and we can provide clean green energy to the growing population in Europe and in the World.
There is not really only one aspect that I find interesting in this company, I think there are many! I really enjoy being in a company with such a great mix of people, from different cultures, speaking many different languages, but all sharing an extreme talent. Furthermore, the fact that we operate in such a fast moving and always evolving business sector makes all of my tasks really interesting and diverse.
European Energy gives me the opportunity to grow and develop myself under both my technical and social persona. In fact, my everyday tasks differ very much: I have the possibility to learn about different accounting procedures and I also have the possibility to interact on many different levels with my co-workers, thus creating a workplace feeling that resembles the one you experience in a big family where we all know each other and we esteem each other under both a personal and professional point of view.
I have to admit that I am really surprised! At first, I had some prejudices about working in Denmark. Instead, I am now living and working in a country where efficiency at work is highly valued, where everyone is highly educated and highly skilled in his/her work. Furthermore, in the case of European Energy, I have the opportunity to keep a very good work-life balance while still learning and improving a lot in my field of expertise on a day-to-day basis.
