The main objectives that have driven my interest towards applying for European Energy were mainly: my interest towards this industry, the opportunity to use my language skills, and finally, the possibility to work as a project manager. As a matter of fact, I believe that the renewable energy sector will surely be a focus industry for the following decades and I definitely find it exciting to have a primary position in the growth of the industry.
The flexibility of our business practice. At European Energy we are always open to new opportunities and we are flexible towards our partners, by adapting our ways of collaborating, we and our partners get the possibility to achieve our highest objectives. One more aspect that I find really interesting are the continuous occasions where I have to learn more about my job from collegues who have more than 20 years of experience in the business and are always open to discuss and to listen to new inputs and opportunities.
There are mainly three reasons for why European Energy is a great place to work: 1. I never have two days alike: the activities are always so varied that I rarely have to work on two similar things. 2. The working environment is very international, young, and ambitious. With my colleagues I have the opportunity not just to have exchanges on a professional but also on a social and personal level. 3. I truly like to travel. Despite my demanding position, I have the opportunity to travel quite often to visit our corporate partners and our projects around my countries of competence.
I believe that, in Denmark, as a young professional, different to other countries, you have the opportunity to receive responsibility from day one. Furthermore, independent from your position, your inputs are always largely appreciated by your colleagues and your managers. Denmark is also a country where you can have a good work-life balance since efficiency in what is most highly valued; which is definitely another point in favor of Denmark as a future, possible, country for you and your family to work and live in.
